To top it off this particular Hilux has been and had a full chassis replacement under their current customer satisfaction scheme in which they are replacing chassis on all MK7 variants of the Hilux upto 12 years of age, regardless of chassis condition. I am well informed this process is costing Toyota £22000 per vehicle that is basically rebuilt as a new truck underneath with suspension arms, backing plates, side step brackets, sump guards, cross members and the main chassis etc all being renewed. The overall condition of this Hilux is extremely good with only the odd minor blemish (mainly on roller shutter edge).
